1. Which data do we collect?

a) Data you actively provide to us
– Username
– Email address
– Password (encrypted)
– First and last name (optional)
– Phone number (optional)
– Content of your listings (title, price, description, images, property address, etc.)
– Uploaded files (photos, floor plans, PDFs)

b) Automatically collected data
– IP address
– Access timestamp
– Browser type and version
– Operating system
– Visited pages and user interactions
– Approximate location (only via IP for maps and search features)

2. For which purposes do we process your data?

– Operation and provision of the platform
– Registration and management of your user account
– Publication and management of your real estate listings
– Sending system emails (e.g. “listing successfully added”, expiration warnings)
– Answering your inquiries / customer support
– Security and fraud prevention
– Improving the website (error analysis, anonymized usage statistics)
– – only with your consent – personalized advertising and retargeting

3. How long do we store your data?

– Your account + associated data: for as long as the account exists + 6 months after deletion
– Listings: for as long as they are online + 12 months afterwards (for evidentiary purposes)
– Log data (IP, access logs): maximum 7 days
– Cookies: see Cookie Policy (usually 30 days to 24 months)

4. Who receives your data?

We do **not** sell or rent your data to third parties.

Exceptions (only when necessary):
– Payment service providers (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) – only payment-related data
– Hosting & IT service providers (with data processing agreement)
– Authorities / courts when legally required
– Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps) – only with your consent

5. Your rights under the GDPR

You have the following rights at any time:
– Right of access – which data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
– Right to rectification – correct inaccurate data (Art. 16)
– Right to erasure – delete your account and all data (Art. 17)
– Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
– Right to object to certain processing (Art. 21)

– Right to data portability (Art. 20)
– Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

How to exercise your rights:
1. While logged in → go to your Profile → look for “Delete account” or “Edit data”
2. By email to: datenschutz@immomarketplace.com
Subject example: “Access request under Art. 15 GDPR” or “Delete my account”

We will respond within **one month** (up to three months in complex cases).

6. Data transfers to third countries (e.g. USA)

Some of our service providers (e.g. Google) are located in the USA.
There is a risk that US authorities may access your data.
We only use providers that offer appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses, Data Privacy Framework where applicable).

7. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time.
The current version is always available here.
We will notify you of material changes by email or upon your next login.
